Votes for Women : Tea Towel
This tea towel has been created to be used on its own or to go with our dinnerware reproductions that were used at a famous 1909 suffrage open house in Newport, Rhode Island. The motto of the event held at the Marble House was Votes for Women. In attendance were many of the most militant suffragists of the day including Mrs. Alva Erskine Smith Vanderbilt Belmont and Anna Howard Shaw. Know a woman who speaks her mind? You, for instance? Perfect! 100% cotton. 27" x 16".
